We were reached by Bikepark Singletracks to extend their mountain bike track offer. After discussion, it was decided to make a "jumpline" using large volumes, while remaining safe and allowing local riders to progress in complete safety, by offering modules previously unavailable in the region.
We had to adapt to geological constraints, namely the presence of a granite slab under almost the entire site. This particularity of the site led us to implement specific drainage systems, and to adapt the layout to facilitate maintenance and guarantee the long-term longevity of the site.
We had to deal with local weather constraints, where we had to adapt to very dry conditions, in order to make progress despite everything and finish the project on time.
We've also designed escape routes to allow access at all levels, and to facilitate reconnaissance runs, making this track accessible while satisfying the needs of experienced riders.
In addition, when we designed the road gap over a carriageway, we came up with an innovative design that made it easy to move the wooden footbridge if the road was occasionally used by agricultural machinery of excessive height and width.
Today, this trail is one of the most popular and frequently used, proving that the construction of this infrastructure is essential to the development of the bike park.
